didn t finish, boring
Bridget really really short and rushed I didn t get enough of a sense of Bridget or Trace to actually be invested in their relationship I didn t sense a whole lot of chemistry between them and their backstory was a bit weak.If it had been longer than 136 pages all of this could have been addressedChristy skimmed through hers because I couldn t stand her personality or her agenda.Skye I had been waiting for this story and yet I was underwhelmed There was conflict in this so while it made the sto [...]
Very few people can transport you through time like Linda Lael Miller I loved the town of Primrose and the feisty women in it Easy read, great characters, family names that pop up here and there Love it
This is one of those books that s kind of hard to rate, because it s 4 stories the story of 4 cousin s Bridget, Christy, Skye, and Megan McQuarry in 1 book Which is also why it took me so long to read And some parts were better than others Some stories better than others The women Of Primrose Creek is also a Historical romance as a lot of Linda Lael Miller s books are Set in the frontier leate 1800 s FYI.I LOVE that the women actually have cool names Not the standard, usually horrid names women [...]
This book is 4 stories Bridget who has lost her husband in the Civil War She starts a new life in Nevada territory When he husband s best friend Trace Qualtrough shows up as he promised his dying friend to take care of his wife Christy was looking for a rich man to married so she could have a secure home life in Primrose Creek When she started having feelings for Marshall Zachary Shaw, it wasn t what her mind wanted but her heart told her different Skye was sweet on lumber baron Jake Vigil but h [...]
As usual Linda Lael Miller has writen a great saga The four cousins share an inheritance, land in the Navad Territory This book has four in one, so I was able to follow of their lives as they build their homes and find their men Interesting that they took it for granted that a trip into town every day was a 2 mile walk I was sorry to see the last story end.I have just discovered that another book is out telling the story of a descendant of the original family in Primrose Creek Look forward to di [...]
Apparently these were four separate books combined into this one rerelease edition This historical story is written about four women in a family relationship The story centers around a piece of land that the four have inherited from their grandfather We learn that they are not a close a family as they probably should be and why Interestingly enough we learn a lot than that The storyline moves quite nicely through each woman s tale of finding a new life, a new home, love and family.
Fair Easy reading Story of four women who thought they were cousins Turned out to be sisters They equally inheirted property left to them by their grandfather they each fell in love and married local men It was a good book, nothing exceptional about it, but comfortable.
I love the interweaving stories of the family I love the history and the roughness of the American West But as always it renews my faith in everything that will be, will be I love a true romance and this was 4 in 1.
Great book The 4 books about 4 women from the same family are combined in this edition Each book focuses on one of the four women but includes the other 3 and includes a family mystery The way the settings are described make you feel as if you were there when the West was wild and unsettled
Has been a good book so far and I am only on page 108.
A good, easy, entertaining read I like the way the stories wove together, with repeating chracters.
Love the strong women Linda writes about The true love stories are refreshing
This was ok but I have liked Linda Lael Miller s other books alot better.
