This book is really truly average, I used it to study for my Adv higher history dissertation, and okay i wasn t focussing particularly on Edward I but I still found this book lacking in depth of research and certainly I found it truly difficult to find original opinion posed in this book.

Good book, well researched, good read, a little tedious on the financial details sometimes, but, overall, a very good read.
